S.C.A. ground ratings

In 2012 the S.C.A. introduced a self-assessment system to rate Swiss cricket grounds. The intention is to identify and prioritise areas of improvement so that resources can be directed to areas where it was needed the most.

The current system allocates points for points in four distinct categories: quality & behaviour of the pitch; quality of the outfield; club & ground facilities; club hospitality.

Depending on the amount of points scored, a star rating is allocated as follows: 

Star rating    
                 ***** 33 - 56 ideal
  **** 57 - 76 good
  *** 77 - 119 average
  ** 110 - 140 room for improvement                  
  * 141 - 165 attention required
