Ivo Favotto receives the 2010 ECB Europe Sky Sports Outstanding Coach Award from Mike Atherton
In June 2008 the Cricket Coaches Association of Switzerland (CCAS) was officially launched. CCAS aims to coordinate the coaching courses and workshops that are being run in the country. It is also hoped that the association will serve to improve communication and information among the Swiss coaches by offering them a forum and a voice.
The spread of the game has been assisted by enthusiastic parents coming forward to participate in ECB coaching courses. Currently the Association has 37 coaches, 12 of these already at ECB Coach Award UKCC2 level.
A recent first aid course certificate and completion of the coaches self declaration form is required for all coaching courses.
