Introduction to Umpiring course

The Swiss Federation of Cricket Umpires & Scorers (swissFOCUS) will run an Introduction to Umpiring Course on Saturday 7^th May 2011 at the Hotel Walhalla in Zurich.

The course runs for approximately 4 hours, 11am – ca. 3pm. The participation fee is CHF20 (CHF10 for members of the Swiss Federation Of Cricket Umpires & Scorers) that includes refreshments during the course, course work and the test.

It is a brief introduction to cricket umpiring, based on an old ICC introduction, and covers the basic requirements and laws that will be faced by an umpire in Switzerland.

There is a short multiple-choice test at the end. Successful participants qualify themselves to umpire in the domestic Swiss senior league.
