"So British!" event at Coop Leman Centre

Cossonay CC are taking part in the "So British!" event at Coop Leman Centre, Crissier.

The club accepted an invitation from the Swiss Supermarket chain to promote Cossonay CC and the Swiss Cricket Association as part of a roadshow promoting British culture and products that has been touring around the country since February.

The promotion runs for 2 weeks from 6th June and sees the club manning a stand (near Ochsner Sport) displaying cricket equipment and CCC memorabilia.

With posters, cricket demos and a tv showing continuous cricket action, the effort has certainly stirred the interest of the locals triggering numerous questions about how the game is played, whilst the braver ones even had a go at wielding the willow.
