SCA Council Meeting

In accordance with the SCA Constitution the Executive Committee has summoned an additional meeting of the SCA Council on Saturday 4th February 2012, immediately preceeding the AGM, at the Restaurant Egghölzli (Weltpoststrasse 16, 3015 Berne), commencing at 1.30pm.

The purpose of the meeting is as follows:

The Executive Committee has considered the results of the consultation of all members on the proposal to conduct negotiations with the SCV with a view to a reconciliation of the two bodies.

The purpose of the consultation was to attempt to define a text agreed by all clubs to be used as the basis for negotiation.

The consultation did not result in an agreed text and all SCA members were informed via email of the outcome.

In accordance with the SCA Council decision on 19. November 2011, there is no current basis for initiating negotiations. Nevertheless, the Executive Committee considers it desirable for the Council to conclude the matter by taking a final decision, if necessary by voting.
