2012 SCA league approaches climax

The 2012 Swiss Cricket Association league competition, the flagship for senior cricket in Switzerland, is drawing to a close. The league stage has ended resulting in Geneva XI Stars preparing to face Royal Cricket Cub and Olten CC preparing to face title holders Berne in the semi-final stages.

Both semi-finals are due to played on Sunday 2nd September beginning at 12.30pm.

This year has been the most seriously weather affected season in the history of the Swiss Cricket Association, affecting nearly fifty pro cent of league matches. Nevertheless, the league has reached the semi-final stages as follows:
